Terms of Service

Rules and guidelines for using Openn.it's link-in-bio, analytics, inbox, and creator operations platform.

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to Openn.it's website, dashboard, bio pages, APIs, and related services ("Services") operated from India and offered globally. By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Description of services

Openn.it provides a creator operations platform including:

  • Link-in-bio pages and premium templates
  • URL shortening, QR codes, and link analytics
  • Bio page analytics and form capture
  • Unified social inbox and compose (via Meta integrations)
  • Shop, events, and wallet features (where enabled)
  • Webhooks, REST API, and third-party integrations
  • Team and agency account management

Features vary by plan and region. We may add, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Accounts & eligibility

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts to evade limits.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable law or third-party rights
  • Distribute malware, phishing, spam, or deceptive content via links or bio pages
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
  • Harass, threaten, or publish unlawful content
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our systems without permission
  • Circumvent plan limits, security, or rate limits
  • Use the Services for illegal gambling, unlicensed financial services, or prohibited goods where restricted by law or payment partners

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your content & licence

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Openn.it a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and transmit your content solely to operate the Services. You represent that you have rights to all content you publish.

Public bio pages are accessible to anyone with the URL. Do not publish confidential data on public pages.

6. Subscriptions & payments

  • Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Fees are charged via Razorpay or designated payment processors in INR or other supported currencies.
  • Taxes (including GST where applicable) may be added as required by law.
  • Refunds are handled per our refund policy stated at checkout or in support communications.
  • Failure to pay may result in downgrade or suspension of premium features.

7. Third-party services

Integrations with Meta, Razorpay, Zapier, and other third parties are subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes. You authorise us to exchange data with connected services as needed to provide features you enable.

8. Intellectual property

Openn.it, its logos, templates, software, and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or resell our platform except as expressly permitted. Template designs are licensed for use on the platform, not for redistribution as standalone products.

9. Disclaimers

SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OPENN.IT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $100 IF YOU USE FREE SERVICES ONLY.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Openn.it against claims arising from your content, misuse of the Services, or violation of these Terms, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, legal requirement, or extended inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases; provisions that by nature should survive (liability limits, indemnity, governing law) remain in effect.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence where they apply.

EU/UK consumers may have additional rights under local law. We encourage contacting support@openn.it before formal proceedings.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version with an updated date and notify material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted.
